Welcome to Our Restaurant

Beddington Park was originally part of the deer park attached to Carew Manor, which was once a major country house. At its height in the Tudor period the park occupied almost all the land between Mitcham Common, Beddington Lane, Croydon Road and London Road. At the beginning of the 18th century a long canal-like lake was created in front of Carew Manor. There were avenues of trees along either side and two other avenues radiating out across the park from the west front of the house.

The Grange, a superbly appointed building that has been made into a restaurant, bar and function venue situated  on the edge of Beddington Park, Wallington in Surrey enjoying views across the parkland with babbling streams winding through the formal gardens of the Grange.

The inspirations behind The Grange as you see it today is the realisation of a dream. The owners hankered after opening a first class venue to provide a theatre for the love of entertaining and food. Offering diners tasty, fresh locally sourced food, that wont cost the earth, superb wines, great beer and an informal, relaxed atmosphere.

The Grange are fully geared to welcome you as the weather gets colder– whether it’s simply for a coffee in the morning, to try our new continental or Indian menu, take a break for tea and cakes after a walk in the park, or for evening dinner.

Approaching our third Christmas, it makes the Grange the perfect place to enjoy the autumn and winter weather whilst relaxing, watching the kids play in the leaves or fish in the River Wandle.

The Grange has changed. We think you’ll like what you find.
